COLLECTION COMPLETE.

My collection is complete! YAY! Now it's just finishing things like button holes, buttons and lining. It's feels like a big weight have been lifed of my shoulders but I still have a little way to go until it's all over. I am abit unsure about my outfit 6 (menswear) trousers, if I have enough time i'll make them again, as I don't like the fabric used.

PDP PRESENTATIONS.

Today I have my PDP presentations to the 2nd years, I felt it went well. But it wasn't until after I thought I could have said alot more. 10 mins isn't enough time to talk about everything in your 3rd year. I got as much information needed in the presentation. This is now another thing ticked off my list. YAY.

I've uploaded my promotional image for my collection onto the graduate fashion week blog. This allows people to view my work from all over the country and promotes me as a designer. This also reminds me that I'm not just up against people in my class but arcoss the UK.

MENS SHIRT.

I've started making my menswear palm tree printed shirt. I'm really please with the way it looks in cotton twill. I was abit unsure about using twill because of it being to thick for a shirt but once it's put together I'm liking it more and I would wear this myself. I'm aslo pleased with the scale of print. smiles all round.

SECOND LOT OF DIGITALS.

My second lot of digtial prints came back today and it's time to crack on get on with making. The palm tree print is printed onto cotton twill for my menswear shirt and the other print is printed onto cotton poplin and that will be used for the inside for pocket bags and the inside of collars and cuts. I want to used the print on this inside of garment because when the collection is hanging on hangers you can see the print flowing through the collection. GET MAKING!

THE 18TH IS LOOMING...

May 18th is the deadline for the garments to be made ready for the video lookbook which is being filmed on the 18th. I can feel the stress coming on and also the deadline for my PDP file is the 18th. AM I GOING TO HAVE TIME TO BREATH? I've also got my PDP presentation to 2nd years on the 14th. I CAN FEEL THE STRESS STARTING TO BUILD. I WANT TO BUY A MINION.

HERTHIRDONE

Her third outfit is in the making. This outfit contains a coat with pig suede sleeve insets, and shirt with a zip up the back and champagne trousers. This is one of favourite outfits and I cant wait to see it on the model.
